It contains answers to most questions buyers often have.
SHIPPING TIMES: While we typically generate very fast processing and shipping times, we cannot guarantee order processing and delivery dates.
STORE FRONT LOCAL PICKUP: We will be happy to accommodate any local buyers wishing to pick up a purchase at our warehouse location in Tyler, Texas, by appointment only. Buyer should select PICKUP upon checkout.
BUYER IDENTITY POLICY: The actual transferee must be the same name associated with the user account. All billing information, including buyer’s name and BILLING address should line up accurately as well. We are not able to make changes, and should we suspect a fraudulent purchase, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
STOCK PRODUCT IMAGES: Manufacturer provided stock product images and descriptions may be used for factory new items. – Please verify product specifications prior to submitting an order. Often it is best to contact the manufacturer or reference the manufacturer's website.
RESTRICTIVE LOCAL LAWS: It is the purchaser's responsibility to confirm an item is legal for them to purchase and possess PRIOR to purchasing/bidding. We are only able to share knowledge of legalities for residents in the State of Texas. A 10% Cancellation Fee will apply should an order be canceled due to local legal restrictions. A 15% restocking/processing fee will be charged should an item be returned due to local legal restrictions. All additional shipping fees will be at the expense of the purchaser.

*IMPORTANT* Pickup Option is for pickup at an Alpine Optics USA location in the Tyler, Texas area and by appointment ONLY. Please DO NOT select In-Store Pick Up if your order is to be shipped. Doing this would result in order cancellation due to incorrect fees being applied to your order.

SHIPPING:
Should a package be refused, have to be re-routed or returned by the shipping agency, additional shipping costs will apply. If an item needs to be returned permanently, there will be a 15% restocking & processing fee charged. Any additional shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer.
Multiple Orders – We are unable to combine shipping costs across multiple orders.
*We currently are unable to facilitate shipments to other off-shore United States territories and possessions, including American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS:

Order cancellations will only be honored if we receive a request prior to shipment. We cannot guarantee the time in which we receive a request, as we often experience delays in communication due to high demands.

Order changes will only be honored if we receive a request prior to shipment. We cannot guarantee the time in which we receive a request, as we often experience delays in communication due to high demands.
5% Change Order Fee
Buyer is subject to a 5% Change Order fee if: *Buyer mistakenly orders wrong product, but re-orders a similar-valued product (from Alpine Optics USA) within the same time-frame OR *Buyer needs to change payment method used for order.) This fee is strictly to cover the costs incurred from payment processing.
Return Policy For Factory New Items:
All Sales Are Final. Restocking & Listing fees will be applied must an item be returned back to us. A restocking fee (15% of the purchase price) will apply should an item be returned due to an extenuating circumstance. For example: The buyer is not lawfully able to take possession of the item. (All shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer.)
Inspection Period:
Preowned Items: All preowned items have a 3-day inspection period from the time the item is delivered.
Return Policy for Preowned Items:
Returns will only be accepted if the item is not as described. We must be contacted for return approval prior to shipping back. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped. Return shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer.
SHIPMENT CLAIMS:
If an item has been damaged in shipment, in order to file an Insurance Claim, the shipment packaging must be retained along with following requirements met: - A photo of the damaged item - A photo showing the damaged merchandise, inside the original box, with all of the original cushioning (picture should show the placement of the merchandise and packaging inside the box) - A photo of the packaging material used inside the box (e.g. bubble wrap, Styrofoam peanuts, cardboard dividers, etc.) - A close-up photo of the shipping label with tracking number (please zoom in enough to read the tracking number, which usually begins with 1Z) - A close-up photo of the box manufacturer’s certificate (BMC), if available - Two photos displaying all six sides of the package (One photo should display the top and two sides. The second photo should display the bottom and the opposite sides.) - Dimensions of the box, including the package height, length, and width.
