AGM Adder TS50-640 thermal imaging riflescope OLED 12-μm, 50mm front lens, 50Hz.

This is AGM's top of the line thermal imaging scope.

The thermal imaging telescope designed for continuous operation in all weather and environmental conditions. The 50mm lens model is ideal for long-range missions.

The rifle scope has a 640×512 high-sensitivity thermal detector and a 1024×768 OLED monitor, which provides a clear image in harsh environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, wood, camouflage, etc.

The rubber tube on the back serves to exclude the last ambient light, but can also be removed.

The rifle scope is equipped with a unique dual power system. Two built-in 18650 batteries with a replaceable CR123A lithium battery provide up to 15 hours of continuous operation. The internal batteries can be charged via a standard USB cable, so you can easily charge them in your car, a hotel room, etc. And for even more recording time, you can carry additional CR123A batteries.

The device has a fast 64GB EMMC memory for integrated video recording and image capture. With the Shot Activated Recording (SAR) feature, you don't have to worry about having to start recording manually every time. Wi-Fi module for live video streaming and video/image recording via application are also available.

The Adder can be mounted on the weapon using standard 30mm scope mounts or rings. Two 30mm Picatinny mounting rings are included. With an extreme detection range of up to 2600 meters, the rifle scope meets the needs of professional hunters who value traditions combined with technological superiority.

How does thermal imaging work?

Thermal imaging technology amplifies the infrared heat emitted by objects and assigns different shades of color to the different heat areas through the integrated processor. This allows you to easily compare/contrast different objects, animals and other heat signatures. Due to the different heat, you may have shades of color as well as shades in a grayscale tone. The main aspects to focus on with thermal are the resolution and hertz of the unit. Resolution deals with how many pixels are displayed in each area within the image. Because Thermal uses internal processors and cores, it is very comparable to other electronics that give you high-resolution images. The higher the resolution on a thermal imaging device, the better the clarity and quality of the image. Hertz refers to how quickly an image/image is updated per second. The higher the Hertz number, the smoother an image appears when you scan a horizon or field.

Thermal imaging has a very practical element for use in the field, in particular there is no hiding from the heat. You can track where animals have been and see through the bushes where they are hiding. Finding blood trails or even downed animals with thermals is exceptionally easy, as the animals' heat signatures can be visible through a thermal device for up to several hours. Thermal imaging also offers significant benefits in the law enforcement and protection markets. Especially when spotting hidden objects or people, but also when determining the amount of heat radiated by tires, engines or even people. Several thermal options have built-in recording that allows you to capture images and videos, as well as GPS and WiFi activation. Thermal imaging optics can come in a monocular, goggles, or a weapon-mountable device.
